Ten years ago, I got my start in personal training. As a single mother of 4 young kids, it allowed the flexibility that I needed to be there for them. After a few short years, training in a well known, commercial gym, I decided to go out on my own – and have been, ever since. Over the years, I’ve developed a particular love for measuring metabolism and educating my clients on how to increase their metabolism to get the desired results they want. By using the InBody, regularly, to track client’s results, I put that information into charts and graphs so they can easily view their progress and the direction it is trending. I absolutely LOVE what I do.

I have always been into sports since a young age. I love the outdoors and staying active is part of my lifestyle. I like to play basketball with the kids and kick the soccer ball around. What else I like to do is EAT! I have found as I have gotten older {I am 38} I am not able to eat the same way I used to without packing on the pounds. Not only that, but feeling lazy and sluggish also came with not eating right. Instead of DIETING I decided it was time to change my lifestyle. Lucky for me, about 6 years ago I met Carrie through our daughters. She has trained me off and on for the last 6 years. I don't kill myself to work out, I do it because it has become something I have learned to love. I don't diet because I don't believe in eliminating the foods you love. With Carries help, I have learned to get a healthy balance between the foods I eat and the work I do. I am really happy with where I am at right now. I feel like I have a ton of more energy, I am a happier person in general, and I feel fit. I'm going to set goals for myself {for example, I would love to run a half marathon when I turn 40}

Through this blog I hope I can share some of my experiences, good and bad, some healthy recipes, and little bits of information I have learned over the years. By no means am I a fitness expert, just a mom of 2 enjoying the life shes living.
